Project - ALL FOR CULTURE – CULTURE FOR ALL

The projects overall objective is to build up circumstances for a more democratic cultural life for children and youth in Macedonia that will be all inclusive, cross-ethnical, equally disseminated and will involve the local government as decentralizing factor and supporter of local cultural activities in order to avoid cultural isolation on ethnic bases.

Aims of the project are:

• democratization of the cultural life of children and youth;
• overcoming the cultural isolation on ethnic bases in the context of the new administrative division of Macedonia;
• stimulating cooperation between the local government and independent cultural organizations and NGO’s;

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project is implemented by Children’s Theatre Centre - Skopje, in cooperation with the Cultural Houses in Tetovo; Debar, Kumanovo; Bitola; Kicevo; Struga; Kriva Palanka; Cultural Centre Tocka; Centre for Contemporary Arts, Lokomotiva The Ministry of Culture; the City of Skopje; the Municipality Centar; the Municipality Cair; Albanian Theatre; Turkish Theatre; The Drama Theatre of Skopje; The National Theatre of Macedonia; The Theatre for Children and Youth of Skopje; The Faculty of Dramatic Arts; The Faculty of Fine Arts; primary schools in Tetovo: Istikbal, Lirija, Kiril Pejcinovic; primary schools in Debar: Liria, Ibe Palikuqa, primary schools in Kumanovo: Naim Frasheri, Nikola Karev; The house for delinquent children “Nikola Vapcarov” – Skopje; The orphanage “11 October” – Skopje; The orphanage “House of Flowers” – Skopje and the School for def and dumb children “Nikola Karev” – Skopje.
