SUMMER SCHOOL FOR THEATER AND EDUCATION

Direct participants in these series of seminars are the students from the Faculty of Pedagogy who, with the help of the foreign experts, gain experience about the role of the theatre and the theatre forms in the child’s education.

A long-term strategic goal of these activities is to accept the theatre as an optional subject in schools.

The seminars and the workshops are run by experts from Holland, Britain and Sweden, countries where theatre is already deeply infiltrated into the educational system and where departments for education of staff for the abovementioned purpose exist.

The aim of the workshops is to train the teachers who are going to use their experience in their future practical work within the educational process.

The purpose of the CTC is, as a result of these seminars and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Macedonia, to have impact on the improvement of the educational system in the state and, by training the students, to make the education system closer to the European standards.
